HedgeMountain is a directory of information drawn from public filings. Nothing on this site is an offer to sell, a solicitation of an offer to buy, or a recommendation of any security, fund or investment strategy. Any offer of interests in a private fund is made only by that fund's own offering documents, to eligible investors, in jurisdictions where it is lawful.

Not a broker-dealer, adviser or placement agent

HedgeMountain is not registered as a broker-dealer, investment adviser, funding portal or placement agent, does not provide investment, legal, tax or accounting advice, and does not take part in any investment decision, negotiation or transaction. HedgeMountain receives no compensation based on any investment in, or capital raised by, a listed fund.

No endorsement, review or verification

A listing is not an endorsement. HedgeMountain does not perform due diligence on any fund or manager and has not reviewed, approved or verified their filings, returns or claims. Fees paid by a manager for a customized profile or reporting service do not affect search order or rankings and do not imply review or approval. Manager-provided content is labeled and is the manager's sole responsibility.

Data sources and accuracy

Fund data comes from Form D notices filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and is republished as filed, with formatting changes only. The SEC does not review Form D filings for accuracy, and filings may be incomplete, outdated or amended. “Raised” is the cumulative amount sold reported on Form D; it is not assets under management, performance or current value. Data is refreshed when the SEC publishes new quarterly data sets and may lag the latest filings. Always confirm information with the fund and its offering documents. Corrections can be requested at no cost.

Eligibility and risk

Private funds are generally available only to accredited investors or qualified purchasers as defined under U.S. securities laws. Investments in private funds are speculative, involve a high degree of risk including the loss of all capital invested, may use leverage and short selling, are generally illiquid with limited withdrawal rights, are not registered with the SEC or any state regulator, and are subject to fees and expenses that reduce returns. Past performance, where shown, is not indicative of future results.

Conflict of interest

HedgeMountain is operated by the principal of an investment manager that sponsors a private fund which may appear in this directory. That fund is listed on the same terms and from the same SEC data as every other fund and receives no preferential placement.

Third-party names and links

Fund, manager and database names are the property of their owners and are used for identification only. Links to SEC.gov and other sites are provided for convenience; HedgeMountain is not responsible for third-party content.

Privacy and listing information

Listings include only the business information contained in public SEC filings, such as fund names, business locations and the names and roles of related persons. HedgeMountain does not publish personal home addresses. Managers may contact us to correct information or to remove optional information they added.
